Patients who have lost significant amounts of weight will frequently have loose skin.
Whilst it is never possible to return the skin texture and contour to normal, considerable improvements can be made by removing loose skin with:
- Tummy-tuck, standard or fleur-de-lis
- Mons reduction
- Breast Uplift
- Breast implants combined with Breast Uplift at the same time or subsequently
- Breast Reduction
- Arm Lift
- Thigh lift
- Lower Back-buttock lift / Mid-back (Bra-line) lift
- Circumferential or ‘360’ lift (a combination of tummy tuck and lower back lift)
- Face/neck lift
- Liposuction as and adjunct to these

Is it possible to have surgery if I have been taking weight loss medications like wegovy or mounjaro?
Yes, you can have surgery if you have been taking or are continuing to take these medications. You should ideally stop taking them for a couple of weeks before surgery but you can start to use them again after your operation.
Can I have these operations together
Each of these operations takes approximately 3-4 hours to complete and there are long surgical scars. Therefore even adding two procedures together typically would mean a full day on the operating table. Whilst it is of course possible to do long operations, there are increasing surgical risks and also implications for your recovery.
